The Flygt N 3127 Sewage Pump:

Designed for low-to-medium flow rates, the Flygt N 3127 pump series, featuring the well-proven Adaptive N^® hydraulic technology, is designed to deliver sustained high efficiency and clog-free performance for demanding wastewater applications.
The series is available in standard and explosion-proof versions, as well as impeller material options of Hard-Iron or grey iron to ensure best-in-class media handling capabilities.
For added flexibility, the Flygt N 3127 can be delivered for wet or dry, vertical or horizontal installation, including column pipe installation (configurations L, P, S, T, Z, X).

Non-Clog Adaptive N Impeller

Flygt N-technology wastewater pumps take on the toughest applications and get the job done. Thanks to the self-cleaning Adaptive N impeller, Flygt small range N-pumps deliver clog-free performance and sustained high efficiency. Lower energy consumption and less unplanned maintenance adds up to total peace of mind – and big savings over the long term.

Most solid objects entering the pump will pass through the impeller between the impeller vanes. If an object gets caught on the leading edge of one of the vanes, it will slide along the backswept shape towards the perimeter of the inlet and be guided out through the relief groove.

When larger objects enter the pump, the Adaptive N technology allows the impeller to lift and let the objects through. Due to the mechanical self-cleaning design, a sludge concentration up to 8% can easily be pumped.

Impeller Materials for Today’s Wastewater Media

The Flygt Adaptive N impeller is available in two material options to meet the requirements of a broad range of wastewater pumping needs.
Hardened grey iron impellers are suitable for typical wastewater applications, while our Hard-Iron (60 HRC) impeller provides superior wear resistance for abrasive and corrosive applications.
The replaceable wear ring is available in grey iron or hard iron to meet different operating conditions.

The Flygt N 3127 series provides reliable, trouble-free operation in municipal sewage and commercial applications. It features:

• Adaptive N hydraulic technology for non-clog performance and sustained high efficiency
• Chopper ring option for tough wastewater applications where cutting is required due to long fibres and solids
• Short shaft overhang for reduced shaft deflection and longer seal and bearing life
• Motor designed for submersible use, with heat losses concentrated around the stator core for improved cooling properties
• Double mechanical seal system consisting of two sets of mechanical shaft seals that work independently to provide double security. Available in Tungsten carbide (WCCR) or Silicone carbide (SiC), depending on the pumped media
• Griploc system that secures the seals to the shaft with no rubber friction, no grub screws and no shaft damage
• SUBCAB^® motor cable specially developed for submersible use
